Lead Marketing Manager

About the Role

As Lead Marketing Manager at IQWorks, you will own and build our marketing function from the ground up. You will define the strategy across demand generation, content, brand, and product marketing, and execute the campaigns that drive pipeline and establish IQWorks as the trusted name in AI-powered data protection. You will work directly with the founders and sales to align messaging with revenue goals, and you will set the foundation for a marketing team as the company scales. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can both set strategy and ship the work.

What You Will Do

  • Define and execute the overall marketing strategy across demand generation, content, brand, and product marketing
  • Build and run demand generation programs that drive qualified pipeline for the sales team
  • Own the IQWorks brand, voice, and positioning across the website, campaigns, and external communications
  • Lead content strategy — thought leadership, case studies, product launches, and SEO
  • Plan and execute product launches in close partnership with product and sales
  • Measure, report, and optimize marketing performance against pipeline and revenue targets
  • Manage external agencies, freelancers, and vendors, and hire the first members of the marketing team as we grow
  • Partner with the founders to shape company narrative and category positioning

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role
  • Proven track record building demand generation programs that drive measurable pipeline
  • Strong command of content marketing, brand, and digital channels (SEO, paid, email, social)
  • Hands-on execution ability paired with strategic thinking — you can both plan and ship
  • Experience working closely with sales to align marketing with revenue goals
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to make a technical product accessible
  • Comfort operating as a team of one initially and scaling a function in a fast-moving startup

Nice to Have

  • Experience marketing data privacy, security, compliance, or developer/technical products
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (DPDPA, GDPR, HIPAA, or similar)
  • Experience marketing to enterprise buyers in India or the Middle East
  • Prior experience as an early marketing hire at an early-stage startup
