About the Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer at IQWorks, you will be the technical bridge between our platform and our enterprise customers. You will work on-site and remotely with clients to understand their data protection challenges, deploy and configure the IQWorks platform, build custom integrations, and ensure successful adoption. This is a high-impact role where your engineering skills directly translate to customer outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Deploy and configure the IQWorks platform for enterprise clients across industries including healthcare, finance, and e-commerce
- Build custom integrations connecting IQWorks with client data systems, identity providers, and compliance workflows
- Collaborate with clients to translate complex data protection requirements into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with urgency, working across time zones when needed
- Feed customer insights back to the product and engineering teams to shape the platform roadmap
- Write technical documentation and runbooks for client-specific deployments
- Own the technical relationship with assigned accounts from deployment through ongoing support
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or a customer-facing technical role
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React; familiarity with Next.js preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and database systems (PostgreSQL, Supabase)
- Ability to understand and work with REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth/SAML-based authentication flows
- Excellent communication skills — you can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Comfort working independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with minimal hand-holding
- Willingness to travel within India for client engagements as needed
Nice to Have
- Experience with data privacy regulations (DPDPA, GDPR, HIPAA, or similar)
- Background in data classification, PII detection, or security tooling
- Prior experience at an early-stage startup or in a consulting/professional services role
- Familiarity with Supabase, Auth0, or similar managed infrastructure
