Rahul Jain

Chief Technology Officer, IQWorks

The engineer behind the platform, from the AIQ detection engine to the zero-trust model every product runs on.

Mumbai, India

The short version

I have been building software since 2010. Billing systems for two of the largest US wireless carriers at Amdocs first, then Ajackus, where I ran engineering and shipped more than fifty web products for startups in two years.

At Nium I was a founding engineer and later engineering manager while a cross-border payments startup grew into a much larger company. That is where I learned how to grow a product and its processes with the company without losing the pace of a startup.

I came back to Ajackus as co-founder and CTO in 2018, building agile, accountable technology teams for clients across North America, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia, and co-founded Tacnique, an AI hiring platform, in 2022. At IQWorks I lead engineering and AI strategy and architect the platform: the AIQ detection engine that finds and classifies personal data, and the zero-trust security model that every product is built on.

What I spend my time on

01

Platform architecture

How the products share one foundation. One security model, one detection engine, one set of rules for how data is reached, so a new product inherits the discipline rather than reinventing it.

02

The AIQ detection engine

Finding and classifying personal data across an enterprise estate, with false positives kept low enough that people trust what it reports.

03

Zero-trust security

The security model under every product. Access is enforced at the data layer, so a product cannot read what its user is not allowed to see.
